In the Information Age, users and libraries are trying to ajust to new paradigms. This paper discusses the usage of social media as a tool to promote engagement and increase visitation in the physical environments of libraries. To do so, it shows the importance of these media to get closer to the public and the transformation of libraries in a living space, through the case study of the project Roda de Conversa, at Lapa Scipiao unit of Senac SP. Through the analysis of social media and semi-structured interviews, it was analyzed the impact of the usage of these resources in the number of visitors to the physical unit of the library.
